Large Handmade Hug Mug, speckled clay with green freckled glaze, 400ml Unique Gift

A Large Handmade Mug with a lovely jade green glaze and chocolate speckles showing all over. There’s a section at the bottom of the mug where it’s been left glaze free to allow the natural beauty of the clay to be seen. A fantastic gift for someone who loves tea or coffee. To use this beautiful wheel thrown mug for that first drink of the day, is a daily ritual which deserves to be enjoyed to the fullest!

Handmade from a ball of stoneware clay using a potters wheel, in my cosy Wiltshire (UK) studio. Glazed inside in a neutral yellow and outside in a lustrous green glaze. The handle was pulled in the traditional way and fits at least two fingers.

Made from rustic stoneware clay and glazed using food safe glazes. Twice fired up to 1200c in my electric kiln. The base has been sanded smooth to ensure your surfaces are safe.

Dishwasher and microwave safe, however to retain its ravishing good looks, I recommend washing by hand!
