Shipping and Returns

Shipping

Orders delivered within the UK can take up to 5-6 business days to arrive. Orders are sent with Royal Mail on a tracked service. A signature will not be required.

International orders can take up to 5-15 business days and may be subject to local taxes and duties. Orders are sent with Royal Mail on a tracked service. Please keep in mind that you may need to pay customs fees upon delivery of your parcel.

I aim to dispatch orders the day after the order is placed, unless it’s over a weekend in which case it will leave the following Monday.

If your parcel goes missing, please get in touch and I’ll help find it. You can also use your tracking number when you contact Royal Mail. I pack every order very carefully with sustainable protective materials, and have yet to have anything broken in transit. But I understand this could happen, so if your parcel arrives damaged, please send me pictures, and I’ll aim to replace or refund your order.

All the packaging used to deliver your items safely are reusable, recyclable or compostable.

Returns and Refunds

If you are not satisfied with your order, you are entitled to return it at your cost for a refund. I will not be able to refund the postage, just the value of the item(s) returned. You will need to insure your return to cover loss or damage.

Before you return your order, please contact me to let me know the issue in case we can resolve it first.

All returns must be done within 14 days of the original order.

Caring for your pots

My pieces are finely thrown, high fired stoneware. I make them to be used as everyday but they’re artisan and require a bit more care than normal mass produced ceramics.

In terms of dishwasher use, they are dishwasher resistant, but the mechanics of loading and unloading make them more susceptible to damage. If it’s not too much of a chore, washing by hand is always preferable.

Every item I sell is handmade by me, meaning there will be subtle differences from item to item. The pieces you get delivered may appear subtly different in colour and shape from that pictured.

Pots About Pottery is just me making hand thrown ceramics in Wiltshire.

Like any online business, I collect some information about you in order to process orders, keep my website running well and to share relevant news and updates with my email subscribers.
